“My family and I were on way back to Texas from our oldest son’s wedding in Las Vegas. Our motor home suddenly broke down (water pump). As we waited on the side of Highway 93 for Pioneer Towing to come to our rescue, it was approaching 8:30 in the evening.
Don from Pioneer took us back to Wickenburg and let us use his personal truck so my family and I could get dinner and a hotel. This was one of the many great people we encountered in Wickenburg. Our many thanks to Don and Harold for their great hospitaility and professionalizm.
Our motor home was taken to Craig Motor Crafts. One again another great establishment ya’ll have. Not only did they do the repairs in a timely manner and gave fantastic service, they also provided electricity for our motor home. My family and I felt totally secure and comfortable. David, the mechanic let us his minivan so we could go to the grocery store for food and drink. David would not accept any gas money.
We also visited the museum right around the corner. What a gem you have there! We were told about a good restaurant – Anita’s. Good food does not decribe it correctly. It was beyond good: it was fabulous.
We just wanted to let everyone in Wickenburg know what a great bunch of people and great atmosphere ya’ll have. A bad situation turned into a great destination. We will be returning in the summer for more time with your great people.
Wickenburg should be called Wickenburg, the town without limits. Ya’ll are great. Thank You!”

It has been our pleasure to know Terry, at Craigs Motor Crafts for the 8 years we have been in the area. Terry and his crew have done fine work on our personal vehicles and our business truck, ( a fine Peterbuilt) that has been up and running quickly, when we needed something on it to be repaired or replaced, — he has always been there! We all know how important that is when you have a need for it’s repair quickly, Terry is always there, even when he has to drive a few miles to get us on the road again. His mechanical crew is just what you want, when you need it, king polite and willing to hustle when you need it most.
His office personnel is knowledgeable, professional, and always greets the public and answers the phone with a smile, always seems to know what is happening in the business. Quite an asset to his business!

Well I Think we are nearing our summer departure day but before we leave, I want to share with all of you what a great experience it was doing business with a very talented group of people. Not sure where to start, but one of the interesting points that I appreciated was the way the diagnostic phase was conducted. Both Terry and Ernie explained the step by step procedure that they would conduct in the process. I then received a phone call to come on down to the shop where I was to be briefed on the findings. They were able to explain the problem, what caused the problem, and what the procedures they would follow in the repair process. They explained to my level and I was able to understand most of what they were trying to convey. The bad news or visual bad scene was the next time I saw my nice innocent Red Dodge pickup, was after Ernie had removed the motor from its cozy little home. The engine compartment looked like a hand grenade had exploded. After I was able to understand the removal process, both Terry and Ernie explained what they were looking at and what parts/components would require replacement.
The new parts arrived and Ernie started the removal and replacement procedure. When I was present, Ernie would share with me what phase of the procedure he was at, and he approximate completion time. Not too much time had elapsed, I stopped by the shop, and the big Cummings engine was all assembled and bolted back into its cozy home.
To summarize, this was the first time in my driving years that any mechanic has ever let me view what was going on, let alone explain every level of the procedure/process. These people made a very bad situation into a very learning and understanding experience. Plus these outstanding people, also repaired our Honda Generator, welded our barbecue, and replaced the springs on our travel trailer. Thank you Linda for the role you played in ordering all the parts.
